Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing Kyle Walker from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.

Manchester City will make a £40 million offer for Tottenham Hotspur defender Kyle Walker this week, according to The Sun.
It has been reported by the British tabloid that City manager Pep Guardiola will make the bid this week.

According to the report, Walker wanted to consider his options at the end of the season, and that Spurs may allow the right-back to leave in the summer as they have a replacement in Kieran Trippier.
Walker is a very good right-back and losing him would be a blow for Tottenham, but Trippier has shown this season that he can step up in the absence of the 26-year-old.

A transfer fee of £40m sounds very good. Perhaps Spurs could use some of that money to sign a back-up striker to Harry Kane.
Tottenham finished second in the Premier League this season and will feature in the group stage of the Champions League in 2017-18. Meanwhile, City ended up third in the table with 78 points from 38 matches.
