Premier League champions Manchester City could lose another brilliant young talent after Jadon Sancho, Brahim Diaz and Rabbi Matondo.

Two years after Jadon Sancho rejected a contract extension at Manchester City in favour of a move to Borussia Dortmund, TEAMtalk reports that Tom Dele-Bashiru is set to leave the Premier League champions ‘seething’ by following in the England international’s footsteps.
A 19-year-old midfielder who has represented England and Nigeria at youth level, Dele-Bashiru is very highly rated at The Etihad. He has even trained with the club’s senior squad with Pep Guardiola seeing a bright future for the teenager in the North West.
But, according to TEAMtalk, Dele-Bashiru could be about to ‘do a Sancho’ with just 12 months to run on his City contract.
The report claims that he is tempted to force a move away from the Premier League champions as he looks to kickstart a career which is yet to really get off the ground – a stance that has City apparently ‘seething’.

Guardiola’s side have lost both Rabbi Matondo and Brahim Diaz to Schalke and Real Madrid already in 2019 and Dele-Bashiru would be yet another slap in the face for a club who pride themselves on their state of the art academy.
But given that Sancho has gone from a relative unknown to arguably England’s brightest young talent, and an established Bundesliga superstar, in the space of 12 months, you can understand why Dele-Bashiru would be considering his future.
TEAMtalk adds that Dele-Bashiru would have made his senior debut against Burton Albion in the EFL Cup if it wasn’t for the uncertainty surrounding his contract situation.
