According to RMC Sport, Manchester City are poised to send Olarenwaju Kayode on loan to French side Amiens, with a view to a permanent deal.
Kayode, 24, starred in his two years with Austria Vienna, scoring 37 goals in 85 games for the Austrian side, and his goalscoring exploits saw him make a big move over the summer.
The Nigerian international joined Manchester City on a four-year deal back in August in a shock move, but immediately farmed him out on loan to sister club Girona.

Kayode has struggled to make an impact in Spain though, starting just two La Liga games and making a further 10 substitute appearances whilst failing to find the net.
With no goals and one assist to his name this term, Kayode has now been recalled by City, and RMC Sport report that he will instead be loaned out to French side Amiens, with the option of a permanent deal.
City already appear to be ready to offload Kayode, and that may be interesting to Newcastle United, who were snubbed by the striker over the summer.

As reported by Own Goal Nigeria, Newcastle were set to sign Kayode over the summer before Pep Guardiola swooped in and signed him at the last minute, hijacking the Magpies’ move.
Whilst summer signing Joselu hasn’t quite been what Newcastle fans were hoping for, it seems that the Magpies may have actually dodged something of a bullet by not signing Kayode, whose City career appears to be over before it really began.
