Nicolo Zaniola has been compared to Paul Pogba by former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini, is he heading to the Premier League champions?

Manchester City are ready and willing to pay £43 million to sign Roma’s coveted midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo this summer, as reported by Corriere dello Sport.
Zaniolo moved to the Italian capital last summer for just £4 million as part of a deal that saw Radja Nainggolan join Inter Milan but few would have expected at the time that Roma had got the better half of the swap.
While Nainggolan has struggled with injuries at the San Siro, Zaniolo has been a revelation at the Stadio Olimpico. The 19-year-old has scored six goals for Roma and has earned both of his Italy caps since the turn of the year.
But Corriere dello Sport points out that Roma could be forced to sell some of their prized assets if they miss out on Champions League qualification, which is a very real possibility. Cengiz Under and Kostas Manolas could go while Zaniolo is expected to attract plenty of offers too.

Manchester City, Juventus and Real Madrid are all reportedly willing to offer £43million.
Interestingly, former City manager Roberto Mancini, who handed Zaniolo his Italy debut recently, compared the teenager with Manchester United superstar Paul Pogba in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.
