Everton are set to be rivalled by Manchester City for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

According to The Mirror, Manchester City are now joining Everton in the race to sign Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka in 2019.
Palace’s academy has produced the likes of Nathaniel Clyne, Victor Moses and Wilfried Zaha over the years, and Wan-Bissaka is their latest star prodigy.
The right back – a former winger – stepped up into the first team last season, and has now ensured that he is Palace’s first-choice right back.
An impressive attacker and more than capable defender, Wan-Bissaka is already one of the most promising right backs in the Premier League, and the 20-year-old is attracting major interest.
The Sun report that Everton want to land Wan-Bissaka, having identified the England Under-21 ace as a future successor to Seamus Coleman, with forward Ademola Lookman potentially being offered in a deal in an enticing plan from director of football Marcel Brands.
However, Everton’s pursuit is already under threat, as Manchester City are believed to have stepped up their interest in the youngster ahead of the 2019 transfer windows.

Kyle Walker is 28 and Danilo 27, meaning that Pep Guardiola wants a young, athletic right back to develop and become City’s first choice in the years to come – and Wan-Bissaka fits the bill perfectly.
City would be able to blow Everton out of the water financially, whilst playing under Guardiola is appealing for any player, meaning the Toffees may face an uphill battle if City firm up their interest.
