Liverpool’s Emre Can has been linked with Manchester City in the summer of 2018.

It has been reported that City are interested in securing the services of Can at the end of the season when his current contract with Liverpool runs out.

The report has also stated that Arsenal could be a possible destination for the versatile Germany international next summer.
Can, who can operate as a midfielder or as a defender, has been on the books of Liverpool since the summer of 2014 when he joined from Bayer Leverkusen for a transfer fee reported by The Independent to be worth £10 million and when Brendan Rodgers – now in charge of Scottish Premiership club Celtic – was the manager of the Reds.

The Germany international has established himself as an important player for the Reds, and one can understand why City are (reportedly) interested in the services of the 24-year-old on a free transfer in the summer of 2018.
Back in the summer of 2015, City signed Raheem Sterling from Liverpool for an initial transfer fee of £44 million.
