Manchester City are reportedly keen on Kylian Mbappe.

According to The Mirror, Manchester City are monitoring the developments of Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe, and would prioritise him over Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.

City are set to win the Premier League title and complete a domestic double having also won the Carabao Cup, but having crashed out of the Champions League to Liverpool, manager Pep Guardiola is still keen on new signings.

Another winger appears to be on his wish list, especially if they have the versatility to play up front, and reports suggest that City are ready to splash the cash once again.

The Mirror report that Paris Saint-Germain’s investigation at the hands of UEFA could leave them forced to move on their top players this summer, and forward Mbappe – who will complete a £167million permanent move from Monaco – could be targeted by City.

Mbappe, 19, is arguably the world’s top teenage talent having hit 26 goals for Monaco last season, whilst he has notched 19 goals and 11 assists in all competitions for PSG this term.

It’s even claimed that Guardiola travelled to France in 2017 in an attempt to persuade Mbappe to join City, but whilst he eventually chose PSG, the City boss isn’t giving up hope of landing the French international this time around.

It seems unlikely that PSG will be forced to cash in on Mbappe over Financial Fair Play, but City are allegedly ready to switch targets from Chelsea’s Eden Hazard to PSG star Mbappe if they believe the Frenchman will be available.

Hazard is set to miss out on the Champions League again after Chelsea’s poor season, and with City claimed to be ready to offer £150million for the Belgian – unless Mbappe becomes available – then Guardiola could lure Hazard to the Etihad Stadium in a blockbuster deal.
