Manchester City are said to value the Southampton-linked striker at £25 million.
Southampton are said to have entered the race to sign Iheanacho, although The Daily Mail have previously credited them with interest in the Nigerian striker.

The likes of Leicester City, West Ham United and Everton have all been more prominently linked in recent weeks however, with the Saints appearing to have cooled their interest.
But according to The Sun, new boss Mauricio Pellegrino wants to add a star forward at St Mary’s this summer, and City’s interest in Bertrand could give Southampton the upper hand.
It is claimed that Pellegrino’s counterpart Pep Guardiola is big fan of the Saints and England left-back, and could make a move for him if he fails to bring primary target Benjamin Mendy to the Etihad Stadium.
City, though, could still end up with both players, with The Sun reporting they are keen to insert a buy-back option into any Iheanacho transfer.

However, the tabloid adds that Mendy is expected to complete a move to Manchester when he returns from a holiday to Dubai, which could scupper Southampton’s chances after all.
