Tottenham Hotspur’s Kyle Walker is reportedly one of Manchester City’s prime summer targets, and it seems the defender is heading towards the White Hart Lane exit door.
According to an exclusive report from The Daily Star, Manchester City are closing in on a £40 million deal for the England right-back.
The report suggests that City are confident of completing a move for the Tottenham star after he returns from international duties.

Pep Guardiola, the City manager, is looking to bolster his defence and signing a right-back is a priority for the Spaniard.

The report adds that City will offer him long-term deal worth around £100,000-a-week that will see double his current wages.
The 27-year-old moved to Tottenham in 2009 from Sheffield United and has established himself as one of the best right-backs in the country.
Walker has enjoyed a superb 2016/17 campaign but Spurs probably do not view him as an irreplaceable asset.
