Manchester City are reportedly looking to bring Sporting Lisbon star Bruno Fernandes to the Premier League.

Manchester City are closing in on an agreement to sign Sporting Lisbon captain Bruno Fernandes, according to O Jogo.
The Sun (24 April, page 61) reported that the Premier League champions had entered talks to bring the Portuguese international to The Etihad Stadium and it seems that the negotiations have gone swimmingly so far.
Because O Jogo believes that an agreement is increasingly close with City expected to pay a fee of around £30 million for Fernandes, who has produced a remarkable 28 goals from central midfield for Sporting Lisbon this season.
This will come as a blow to rivals Manchester United, who were leading the chase for the 24-year-old before City stepped in.
The report adds that Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Arsenal were also interested while Atletico Madrid and AC Milan wanted to lure the former Udinese star to Spain and Italy respectively.

Fernandes’ arrival will surely increase the speculation over Ilkay Gundogan’s future under Pep Guardiola with the German international seemingly reluctant to extend a contract that runs until 2020.
Inter Milan are interested with Manchester City willing to sell Gundogan for just £21.5 million, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
