According to WestLondonSport, Queens Park Rangers are interested in signing Luke Amos on a permanent contract from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.

Amos spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan at Championship club QPR from Premier League outfit Tottenham.

Rangers manager Mark Warburton is keen for the 23-year-old midfielder to return to the club and believes that he has huge potential, according to the report.

It has been added that while QPR want to make another loan deal, the London club will make it a permanent move if they can reach an agreement with Spurs.

Stats

According to WhoScored, Amos made 26 starts and eight substitute appearances in the Championship for QPR this season, scoring two goals in the process.

Back to QPR?

Amos did well during his loan spell at Rangers, and given that Warburton reportedly wants him, he should at least consider a return to the Championship club.

It is going to be tough for the 23-year-old to break into the Spurs first team, especially as he has yet to make an impact in the senior side so far in his career, while at QPR, he would play regularly.
