Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim has contacted Aston Villa winger Trezeguet’s agent in the hope of forcing through a transfer, Sozcu report.
Trezeguet only joined Villa last summer, but following the addition of Bertrand Traore this summer his future looks uncertain.
The Egyptian actually started in Villa’s first Premier League game of the season against Sheffield United, but he failed to have much of an impact.
And reports in Turkey now suggest that he could well depart Villa Park before the end of the transfer window.
Galatasaray boss Terim certainly seems to think so, as he is pushing to get a transfer over the line sooner rather than later.
Trezeguet’s speed still makes him a useful option for Villa, so whether Dean Smith will agree to a deal remains to be seen.

The Express and Star actually stated just last month that Smith was determined to keep Trezeguet at Villa, and had no intention of selling him.
Trezeguet was one of Villa’s stars after the mid-season break, as they narrowly avoided relegation, and that appears to have made Smith want to keep him around.
But whether he has softened on that stance slightly after Traore’s arrival now will only come clear in time, as Gala step up their interest.
