Porto coach Sergio Conceicao is far from happy about the impending departure of Vitor ‘Vitinha’ Ferreira to Wolverhampton Wanderers, according to A Bola.
Thanks largely to super-agent Jorge Mendes, the Black Country giants have raided the Portuguese market for their most exciting young talent on countless occasions since the summer of 2016.
And all the signs suggest that 20-year-old Ferreira will be the latest to join Nuno’s Portuguese-speaking contingent at Molineux.
A matter of days after Wolves shattered their transfer record for the £35 million teen sensation Fabio Silva, The Mail reports that they are returning to the Estadio do Dragao for another rising star.
Ferreira, or ‘Vitinha’ as he is known, will join on loan with an option to buy for £18 million.

The energetic, box-to-box midfielder only played 110 minutes of Primeira Liga football last season, as Porto wrestled the title back from bitter rivals Benfica.
But do not make the mistake in assuming that Ferreira was not a part of Conceicao’s plans going forward.
A Bola suggests that the Porto coach was planning to hand the Portugal U21 international a bigger role going forward, after he featured in five of their final eight league fixtures in 2019/20.
And Conceicao is allegedly less than impressed by Porto’s decision to cash in.
His loss, it seems, could be Nuno’s gain.
“I thought Vitinha would remain at Porto. He was promoted in the middle of last season and showed a lot of quality, despite not having played so many games. It is a surprise he left for Wolverhampton. I hoped he would stay,” former Porto B captain Luis Mata tells Noticias ao Minuto.
“Although it was a surprise, Vitinha really has a lot of quality and enormous potential. Step by step, and by gaining confidence in a different country and in a very demanding championship, I believe he will be very successful at Wolverhampton.
“He will do beautiful things.”
