Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Bruno Lage does not want Adama Traore to join Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window.

The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed on the social networking site that Wolves boss Lage wants Traore to stay at the club until the end of the season.

Tottenham, though, are still trying to secure the services of the 25-year-old Spain international winger, according to Romano.

Could Adama Traore join Tottenham from Wolves?

In our view, Traore could leave Wolves and join Tottenham in the January transfer window.

Money talks.

TEAMtalk reported over the weekend that Tottenham are confident of bringing Traore to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in a £20 million deal in the January transfer window.

Wolves have also just signed winger Chiquinho from Portuguese side Estoril.

So, in our view, the Wanderers are laying down the foundations for a potential exit for Traore.

We can understand why Wolves manager Lage would want to hold keep of Traore until the end of the season,

The winger is a very good and quick player who is an asset for Wolves.

The Wolves no. 37 has made 10 starts and nine substitute appearances in the Premier League so far this season.

Traore has scored one goal in those games.
