According to TuttoJuve, West Ham and Aston Villa target Weston McKennie may now be staying at Juventus, despite being put up for sale.
What’s the story?
Well, back in September, Calciomercato revealed that Juventus had placed McKennie on the transfer list, along with Aaron Ramsey.
That offered encouragement to West Ham and Aston Villa ahead of the January transfer window, after Calciomercato said the Hammers were leading the race.
Elsewhere, it was the Birmingham Mail who claimed the Villans wanted McKennie.
However, the Hammers and the Villans may now miss out on the £16m man, as Massimiliano Allegri begins to change his mind.
TuttoJuve believe Allegri is giving more consideration to what McKennie can bring to the team.
The 23-year-old has started plenty of games in October, having featured sporadically beforehand, and even scored in the last outing against Sassuolo.
It’s credit to McKennie’s drive and determination that he has worked to turn his situation around in Turin – fair play.
Bad news for West Ham and Aston Villa

If David Moyes and Dean Smith had their hearts set on signing the 27-cap United States international, they may now be disappointed.
All of a sudden, McKennie now looks unobtainable this winter.
Unless Allegri decides to leave him on the bench again, it seems as if only an unbelievable offer will be enough to lure the American to the Premier League.

Juventus are a European giant, so it also feels unlikely that he will agitate for a move away while things are going well for him at the Allianz Stadium.
Only time will tell, but it looks like West Ham and Aston Villa may have to cross this option off their shortlist.
