According to The Daily Star, reported Celtic managerial target Chris Wilder will be offered the West Bromwich Albion job if Sam Allardyce leaves.
It has been reported that Allardyce is unlikely to stay at West Brom beyond the end of the season if the Baggies get relegated.
West Brom will reportedly offer the managerial role to Wilder, who is without a job at the moment following his dismissal by Premier League rivals Sheffield United this month.
Sheffield United News reported this month that Scottish Premiership giants Celtic are interested in appointing the 53-year-old as the permanent successor to Neil Lennon.
Celtic or West Bromwich Albion?
Wilder knows all about Championship, and he would be the perfect manager to bring West Brom back to the Premier League if they go down and Allardyce leaves.

However, Celtic are a massive club, and with the Hoops, the 53-year-old would be competing for major trophies and playing in Europe.
That could be very appealing to the Englishman, who would be a good managerial appointment for the Hoops given his track record of building teams.
