Manchester United are now eyeing a move for RB Leipzig star Christopher Nkunku, who is also a target for both Arsenal and Tottenham.
According to ESPN, Ralf Rangnick is eager to bring the French midfielder to Old Trafford, with the German the one who signed Nkunku for Leipzig in the first place back in 2019 during his time as director of football at the club.
The 24-year-old has been in astonishing form this season, with Nkunku scoring 19 goals from midfield as well as assisting another 13, and these numbers have caught the eye of Premier League clubs, with Arsenal, Tottenham and now United chasing the Leipzig star.
According to RMC Sport, the Gunners are keen on Nkunku, whilst Foot Mercato claim that Spurs are also in the running for the former PSG academy graduate, who this season has exploded into life in terms of goal contributions.
It is no wonder then that United are now chasing Nkunku. Whilst Rangnick has unimpressed as manager of the Red Devils, the German will likely win over fans due to his moves in the transfer market next summer.
And Nkunku could be a perfect player to rejuvenate the United squad, especially with Paul Pogba set to leave in the summer for free and the likes of Arsenal not needing a midfielder in the mould of the Leipzig star.
Arsenal and Tottenham could lose out on Nkunku to United

Whilst Tottenham could do with a player like Nkunku, United’s interest in the 24-year-old and Rangnick’s presence at the club could make the Manchester giants the favourites to sign the Bundesliga star this summer.
Nkunku has shown he has outgrown the German top-flight this season, and the midfielder could be primed for a move to the Premier League, where United would be a good landing spot for the French star next campaign.
