Manchester City summer target Sergio Ramos is now reportedly open to leaving PSG, with the defender in talks to sign for MLS giants the LA Galaxy.
According to journalist Santi Aouna via AS, the 35-year-old centre-back is already likely to leave France this summer with his move to the European giants so far resulting in a huge financial loss for PSG.
The Spanish international joined Mauricio Pochettino’s side in the summer after signing a contract worth a reported £233,000-a-week, yet since the move, Ramos has played just five times for PSG, playing 283 minutes in all competitions.
And as per the report, PSG are open to cutting their losses on Ramos, who before moving to France was a rumoured target for City following his announcement that he will leave Real Madrid at the end of last season.
According to ESPN, a contract offer was on the table from City for Ramos, along with Bayern Munich, however, the Spanish legend opted to move to PSG in a summer where the Ligue 1 giants signed an incredible array of talent, including Lionel Messi and Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Whilst PSG lead the title race in France and are winning their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 series against Madrid, Ramos’ future looks to be away from Paris, yet City won’t be the ones signing the centre-back.
Ramos to MLS is coming at the right time for PSG flop

Injuries have been rough on Ramos this season with the defender seemingly spending the entire campaign on the treatment table, and although City might still hold an interest in the defender, an opportunity to play in MLS has come at the right time.
Indeed, Ramos physically cannot keep up with the demands of European football, and with the LA Galaxy having the budget to meet the Spaniard’s salary, a move to America could be perfect for the defender in the final years of his career.
