It has been reported that Manchester City are now interested in securing a transfer for Tottenham Hotspur target Kim Min-jae.
According to the Daily Mail, the Napoli centre-half has a £40 million release clause in his contract, which is set to be active for a 15-day period starting from July 1st.
While Si Gonfia La Rete claimed in March that Tottenham Hotspur were ready to trigger the release clause to complete a transfer for Kim Min-jae, it seems like Manchester City are hot on the heels to sign him as well.

Assessing Tottenham and Manchester City this season as well as their contrasting fortunes over the years, Kim Min-jae is likely to pick the latter as his next transfer destination.
Simply put, the London-based side will have to be far more creative in the summer window if they do not want their moves for targets potentially hijacked by teams on a different stratosphere to them.
