Luka Jovic believes he has no future at Real Madrid and is looking for a route out of the La Liga champions amid reported interest from West Ham United and Leicester City, according to Marca.
While the Serbian striker will undoubtedly be disappointed when his ill-fated spell at the Santiago Bernabeu comes to an end, history is littered with examples of players who have played the best football of their careers after bidding farewell to the Spanish giants.
See Wesley Sneijder, Rafael Van der Vaart and, of course, James Rodriguez.
According to the Mirror (1 November, page 61), West Ham and Leicester will offer Jovic a chance to ‘do a James’ in the Premier League.
While it won’t be easy striking a deal in January (Real are already short of strikers and Karim Benzema limped off in Sunday’s stunning 4-1 defeat to crisis-hit Valencia), Jovic will certainly be receptive to any offers that come his way.
Marca claims that the former Eintracht Frankfurt forward has been struck by the realisation that things aren’t going to get much better in Madrid, with a departure in 2021 looking increasingly like the best option available to him.

Jovic has made just four La Liga appearances all season, tallying 149 minutes, and is now actively looking for a fresh start.
It is easy to forget why Real Madrid were happy to invest £59 million in bringing him to the Bernabeu just over a year ago.
Back in 2018/19, Jovic was one of the hottest strikers on the planet, scoring 27 goals at Frankfurt with even Lionel Messi blown away by his ‘magical’ displays.
Then again, David Moyes’ West Ham squad is full of big-name, big-money players struggling to recapture past glories. Would Jovic be another?
