According to ESPN, Boca Juniors are moving to give Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira his dream move to La Bombonera this summer.
It’s claimed that Boca want to add a new midfielder and a striker, and have two ambitious targets to fill those roles; Torreira and Edinson Cavani respectively.
The duo play for Uruguay together and could join forces at Boca, though Torreira looks to be a particularly difficult signing for the Argentinian giants.
Torreira, 25, is on loan at Atletico Madrid having fallen out of favour under Mikel Arteta at Arsenal, though he has failed to really convince Diego Simeone.
He now looks set to head back to Arsenal this summer, and Boca hope his love for the club will see him make the move to Buenos Aires when his Atletico deal ends.
Torreira has previously confirmed that he has a love for Boca that was born ‘many years ago’, claiming that he has been passionate aout the club from a very young age.

Having the chance to turn out for Boca must be hugely appealing for Torreira, but Arsenal paid £26million to sign him in 2018, and will be expecting a considerable return.
Whether Boca can strike a deal remains to be seen, but having been exiled by Arteta, Torreira would surely love joining his favourite club this summer.
