West Ham United striker Lucas Perez could leave this week.

According to the Daily Mail, West Ham United striker Lucas Perez wants to leave the club this week in order to join La Liga side Real Betis.
The Hammers lost 4-2 away at AFC Wimbledon on Saturday night, falling to an embarrassing defeat at League One’s bottom club in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
The result showed that West Ham still have work to do under Manuel Pellegrini, and even with Marko Arnautovic signing a new contract, there may be changes to come in attack.
The Daily Mail report that West Ham remain keen on Celta Vigo attacker Maxi Gomez, with Javier Hernandez wanted by Valencia before Thursday’s deadline.
It’s also added that West Ham forward Perez wants to leave before the deadline too, as he is keen to join Real Betis back in Spain.
Perez came on as a half-time substitute against AFC Wimbledon and actually scored, but that may just be his last goal for the club if he gets his way.

The 30-year-old forward only joined West Ham from Arsenal over the summer, but has started just three Premier League games and generally struggled to impress.
West Ham may be willing to let Perez return to Spain if they can get in forwards of their own before Thursday, but if not, Perez may be left to stick around at the London Stadium.
