The Paris Saint-Germain ace has been linked with a move to both Liverpool and Manchester United.

A report emanating from France this morning claims that PSG star Lucas Moura’s representatives are trying to push him towards joining Liverpool this month, according to French media outlet Le Parisien.
The 25-year-old winger has fallen down the pecking order at the Parc des Princes, following the summer arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, and he is growing increasingly more frustrated with his lack of game-time with the French champions.
Le Parisien claim that Jose Mourinho is a keen admirer of the Brazilian, and wants to bring him to Old Trafford, although he is reluctant to meet PSG’S €40 million (£35.2 million) asking price, and that is where Liverpool come in.

The French publication claim that Lucas Moura’s entourage are pushing him towards a switch to Anfield in the belief that the Merseyside outfit will be more willing to meet his asking price, having just sold Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona for a staggering £145 million.

The PSG ace possesses undoubted talent, plays in a similar position to Coutinho, is the same age and has just as much potential as the Barcelona star, but whether he could fill the mercurial Brazilian’s void at Anfield is debatable.
If he is available for £35.2 million as reported, however, he might just be a risk worth taking for Liverpool, as they look to build for a future without Coutinho.
