Tottenham Hotspur are claimed to be closing in on Lucas Moura.

Paris Saint-Germain's (PSG) Brazilian midfielder Lucas Moura poses for a photograph at the Camp des Loges training centre in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, west of Paris, on February 08, 2017.

Tottenham Hotspur are claimed to be closing in on the signing of Brazilian winger Lucas Moura.

Real Betis had submitted an offer to PSG, but news outlet ABC Sevilla report they are preparing for defeat over their interest because he is poised to sign with Spurs.

Their report states Moura is currently in London to negotiate his move with Tottenham.

ABC Sevilla reference France Football’s Nabil Djebitt who had first claimed Lucas had crossed the channel.

Le10Sport report Lucas Moura’s future will be decided ‘imminently’.

Spurs have yet to make any signings this transfer window and fans have been crying out for attacking players to join.

The Telegraph report Lucas was given a tour of Tottenham’s training ground, ahead of a potential switch.

A fee is yet to be agreed with PSG.

Doubts?

RMC Sport report Daniel Levy is a big fan of Lucas although there may be some doubts from manager Mauricio Pochettino.

The report states: “The businessman is a fan of the player, but Mauricio Pochettino, the coach of the Spurs, a little less.”

It is also claimed that club and player are ‘coming to an agreement’ on wages.

Lucas Moura #7 of Paris Saint-Germain tries to break away from Radja Nainggolan #4 of AS Roma during the second half at Comerica Park on July 19, 2017 in Detroit, Michigan.

Tottenham were without Christian Eriksen when they faced Southampton and looked to struggle without him.

This season Lucas Moura has been out of favour at PSG and he has been told he can leave, amid concerns over his World Cup spot.

In 2016/17 he scored 18 goals in all competitions and at 25-years-old he would be a terrific addition for Spurs.
