Rangers are reportedly looking to lure Louis Moult to Ibrox this summer.

According to the Daily Mail, Preston North End striker Louis Moult will consider a summer move – and Rangers are leading the race to bring him back to Scotland.
Moult, 25, joined Motherwell from Wrexham back in the summer of 2015, and became a hero at Fir Park with 50 goals in 98 games for the club.
With his contract entering its final six months, Moult moved on in January, joining Championship side Preston North End, but he hasn’t enjoyed the greatest start to life at Deepdale.

The striker has started just three games in all competitions and made just seven appearances in total, failing to find the net so far as he fights for playing time under Alex Neil.
Jordan Hugill’s departure to West Ham United hasn’t even helped his case, as Callum Robinson impressed in attack, whilst Sean Maguire is now back to full fitness and has hit five goals in four games.
Moult is sat on the sidelines at Preston, and whilst it’s still early days for him in Lancashire, it’s claimed that he may consider his options this summer if he doesn’t receive more playing time between now and the end of the season.

A return to Scotland could be considered, as Rangers – who wanted Moult last summer – have allegedly asked to be kept updated with Moult’s situation with the Lilywhites, in the hope of landing the striker once and for all.
It still seems somewhat unlikely that Moult would give up on his Preston career so soon, but if Rangers come calling with an offer that North End can’t refuse, then he may well head back to Scotland in rapid time.
