According to Kicker, Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius is set to seal a return to Germany by joining Union Berlin.
It’s claimed that Union are looking to sign a new goalkeeper, and Karius has agreed to make the move to the German capital.
The report doesn’t state the fee Liverpool will be receiving, but it seems that this four-year stint at Anfield is set to come to an end.
Union have already signed Andreas Luthe this summer having lost first-choice stopper Rafal Gikiewicz, and Karius is now joining as additional competition.
Karius, 27, joined Liverpool in 2016 having starred in goal for Mainz, and with Jurgen Klopp still close to his former club, he pounced to land the German.
Karius struggled to make an impression though, and having dropped a couple of clangers in the 2018 Champions League final, Liverpool splashed the cash on Alisson.

He has spent the last two seasons out on loan at Besiktas in Turkey, playing 67 games there before returning to Anfield.
Liverpool have a number of goalkeepers ahead of Karius, and his torrid time on Merseyside will now come to an end – which is likely best for all parties.
