Tottenham Hotspur may have the chance to sign Lorenzo Pellegrini.

According to Calciomercato, Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini wants to join a Champions League club this summer – and is interested in signing for Tottenham Hotspur.
Pellegrini, 22, starred with Sassuolo, and unsurprisingly followed Eusebio Di Francesco back to Roma in 2017, making his big move back to his first senior club.
The midfielder hit four goals and seven assists this past season, but with Di Francesco sacked in March, Pellegrini is now being linked with a move away from the Stadio Olimpico.
It’s believed that Pellegrini wants to join a Champions League club after Roma missed out on Europe’s premier club competition, and Tottenham are one team he wants to join.
The report claims that Pellegrini’s agent is currently in London to gauge interest in the Italy international, and he would even consider a move to Arsenal despite them being in the Europa League – just like Roma.
Tottenham is a great team to target for Pellegrini and his agent, as they’re in the market for one, possibly even two midfielders this summer, and Pellegrini may fit into their budget with a release clause of €35million (£31million).

Pellegrini may see the Champions League finalists as a great club to join in order to progress his career, and he must now wait and see whether Spurs are actually interested.
Roma are running out of Rome-born heroes with Francesco Totti and Daniele De Rossi gone, and seeing Pellegrini go may not go down well, but there’s a long way to go yet.
