Tottenham Hotspur have decisions to make on a couple of wingers.
Gareth Bale’s loan deal is coming to an end, whilst Erik Lamela’s future is up in the air, meaning a left-footed winger should be a priority.
One name that is likely to be on the radar is Leon Bailey of Bayer Leverkusen given strong links to him earlier this season.
Sky Sports reported in September that Bailey was desperate to move to the Premier League and Tottenham were exploring a deal.
Spurs were then scouting Bailey in December, and he even switched his representation to join the same agency as Ryan Sessegnon.
The 23-year-old speedster enjoyed a great season, racking up 15 goals and 11 assists for Leverkusen as he bounced back following a disappointing 2019-20 season.
Branded ‘exceptional’ and ‘so fast it’s not normal’ by Ronald de Boer, Bailey could provide something different at Tottenham if they return for him – and he may just be available.

Bild report that Bailey is still part of the plans at Leverkusen, but he is a candidate to be sold in order raise funds this summer.
Bailey has just two years left on his contract, and Leverkusen may believe that this is the ideal time to sell after his superb season.
Spurs must be aware of Bailey’s situation, and if Bale and Lamela aren’t at Spurs for next season, the Jamaican would be a smart target.
