According to The Liverpool Echo, Jonas Lossl, now on loan at Huddersfield Town, will be part of the Everton first team next season.

The 31-year-old goalkeeper joined Championship club Huddersfield on loan from Premier League outfit Everton in the January transfer window.

As reported by The Telegraph, the Denmark international moved to the Toffees on a free transfer in the summer of 2019 after leaving Huddersfield.

The Liverpool Echo has claimed that Lossl will be part of manager Carlo Ancelotti’s first-team squad at Everton next season, with the player himself determined to challenge Jordan Pickford for the spot between the posts.

Back to Everton

Pickford is a very good goalkeeper, but the England international does make mistakes from time to time.

Lossl is a very experienced custodian, and he will know that he could get a chance in the first team to play regularly during the 2020-21 campaign.

The Denmark international has a lot of experience, and him being in the squad next season will at least push Pickford to step up his game and be consistent.
