Tottenham Hotspur continue to be linked with Giovani Lo Celso.

According to Diario de Sevilla, Real Betis playmaker Giovani Lo Celso has now had more than one conversation with Mauricio Pochettino about signing for Tottenham Hotspur.
Lo Celso, 23, starred on loan at Betis last season, and after smashing 16 goals from an attacking midfield role, they turned his move from Paris Saint-Germain permanent.
The midfielder has been a target for Spurs for months now, and Informa Betis reported earlier this week that Lo Celso is expected to undergo a medical this week ahead of joining Tottenham.
The move doesn’t appear to be quite that far along yet though, as Diario de Sevilla claim that Betis are still waiting for Tottenham to take the final steps towards a deal.
However, they claim that Pochettino has already spoken to Lo Celso on more than one occasion, and he has been tempted by the chance to treble his wages at Tottenham.
With Nabil Fekir signed by Betis, this move appears to be a matter of time. There appears to be some haggling over the price involved, but Lo Celso wants the move and Betis have already signed his replacement.

Those talks between Pochettino and Lo Celso should help Spurs too, and not just because the pair hail from the same region of Argentina.
Pochettino has been able to convince players to sign for Spurs in the past, most recently Tanguy Ndombele, and that pulling power is as likely to push Lo Celso towards Tottenham as the money on offer.
