Taiwo Awoniyi joined Gent on loan from Liverpool in the summer transfer window.

Awoniyi joined Belgian club Gent on a season-long loan deal from Premier League outfit Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that the 21-year-old will leave Gent and will agreed on a new loan deal with another club.
Future at Liverpool?
Awoniyi has been on the books of Liverpool since the summer of 2015 when he joined from Imperial Academy in Nigeria for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £400,000.

The Nigeria Under-23 international centre-forward has struggled to break into the Liverpool staring lineup, and Gent are the fourth club he has been on loan at since his move to Liverpool.
Given how strong Liverpool are in attack, the youngster could struggle to make a mark in the Reds’ first team rightaway, and if he is to end his loan spell at Gent, perhaps a move to a club in the lower end of the Premier League or to a team in the Championship on loan for the rest of the season will be helpful.
