Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly hoping to sign Liverpool starlet this summer.

According to a report from the Express and Star, Rafael Camacho is interested in joining Wolves this summer as Nuno Espirito Santo’s men continue to plot an approach for the Liverpool youngster.
Wolves are preparing for their second successive campaign in the Premier League, which is set to include a potential run in the Europa League. And one of the players that they want to come along for the ride is Camacho.
The Express and Star reports that he is out of contract on Merseyside at the end of next season and the Reds are willing to consider selling the 19-year-old for £10 million in the coming months.
The report notes that Wolves are yet to make a bid, but are prepared to offer Camacho a long-term contract at Molineux, and the midfielder is keen to join Wolves.

Meeting Liverpool’s asking price appears to have the potential to be a real gamble given his lack of game-time at senior level. He has been outstanding for the Reds’ youngsters, scoring 12 goals and contributing eight assists across Premier League 2 and the UEFA Youth League, but it is still a lot of money, especially when you consider that his deal expires next summer.
But if Nuno can get Camacho to play at anything like the level that he has been at for Liverpool’s under-23s in Wolves’ first-team, then a deal certainly has the potential to be an inspired piece of business.
