Liverpool right back Nathaniel Clyne is allegedly wanted by Leicester City.

According to The Mirror, Leicester City want to land Liverpool right back Nathaniel Clyne in the January transfer window as he struggles for first-team football.
Clyne, 27, emerged as one of the countries top full backs before his 2015 move to Anfield, and racked up nearly 100 appearances his first two seasons with the club whilst also impressing for England.
However, the defender missed almost the entirety of last season has not only lost his England spot to Kyle Walker and Kieran Trippier, but also his Liverpool spot to Trent Alexander-Arnold – who is also ahead of him in the England pecking order.
With Alexander-Arnold clearly Liverpool’s first-choice right back, injury hit Clyne’s only appearance this season came in the Carabao Cup against Chelsea, and he may be on his way in January.
The Mirror report that Leicester City are keen to sign Clyne, and potentially give him the first-team football he wants having made his long-awaited return from injury earlier this year.
The Foxes did sign Ricardo Pereira over the summer, but he has been used on the right of midfield at times this season, and a natural right back like Clyne may be wanted to play behind the Portuguese international.

Yet, with Joe Gomez becoming a star at centre back, Liverpool may be reluctant to let Clyne go, as he is the prime cover for Alexander-Arnold, and still has enough left in the tank at 27.
Others clubs are thought to be keen, but Leicester are the most prominent right now, and the Reds may face a tough decision in January over Clyne’s future at Anfield.
