Liverpool have reportedly failed in a move for Leicester defender Ben Chilwell.

According to The Telegraph, Leicester City have rejected a £7m bid from Liverpool for defender Ben Chilwell – and the Reds are turning their attention to Hull ace Andrew Robertson.
The Reds have already added new faces in goalkeeper Loris Karius and defender Joel Matip, but manager Jurgen Klopp appears keen to add more signings this summer.
Left back is a particular area of concern given that current first choice Alberto Moreno endured a nightmare performance against Sevilla in the Europa League final last month.
Now, The Telegraph report that Liverpool have made a bid for a left back, but their £7m offer for Leicester City ace Ben Chilwell has been rejected.
Chilwell, 19, has come up through the ranks at the King Power Stadium and has been touted as one of English football’s brightest teenagers, but has yet to make his Premier League debut for the Foxes.
Having spent time on loan at Huddersfield Town – under Klopp’s best man and former Borussia Dortmund colleague and David Wagner – Chilwell appears to have been recommended to Klopp, but talks are believed to be at a stalemate as Leicester want £10m for the youngster.
As a result, it’s believed that Liverpool are turning their attention to Hull City’s Andrew Robertson, with a move planned if they can’t move for Chilwell.
The Scottish international impressed as Hull won promotion last season, and whilst he’ll be playing in the Premier League next season anyway, he could well end up at Anfield if Liverpool can’t secure Chilwell’s signature in the coming weeks.
