Liverpool will have to make Talles Magno the most expensive teenager in Anfield history if they are serious about signing a £25 million-rated Vasco da Gama starlet this summer, according to claims from FootMercato.
If your scouts are worth their salt, then you can assumed they will be clued up on the qualities of a Brazil youth star who has clubs all over Europe batting their eyelashes in his direction.
Talles Magno might have only made a handful of first-team appearances but don’t let that fool you; this is a forward with serious potential. And it seems only a matter of time before he follows in the footsteps of Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo Goes and Reinier Jesus by joining forces with a bona fide European giant, although Real Madrid have been conspicuous by their absence so far.
A Liverpool side who have made signing rough diamonds their trademark are unsurprisingly at the front of the queue.
Paris Saint-Germain, Sevilla, Lazio and a Bayer Leverkusen side who have a history when it comes to signing 17-year-old’s from Vasca da Gama (see Paulinho) are interested too.

But it remains to be seen how much faith Liverpool are willing to place in Talles Magno. FM claims that Vasco da Gama want £25 million at the very least for a 17-year-old with just two senior outings under his belt.
Snapping up the likes of Sepp Van der Berg and Harvey Elliott is one thing, but spending £25 million on a talented yet completely unproven teenager would represent one hell of a risk, even if money is not exactly in short supply at Anfield.
