According to Tuttomercatoweb, Liverpool are weighing up a bid for Juventus hitman Paulo Dybala and have already made contact with the Italian giants.

Goal.com reported on Thursday that Juventus are close to sealing a deal for Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo in a development which could have a knock-on effect for Dybala.

Tuttomercatoweb claims that Liverpool are willing to put together a “concrete offer” for the 24-year-old, who is worth £144 million according to CIES, Football Obsevatory.

Feasible for Liverpool?

Liverpool’s runners-up placing in the Champions League last season confirmed Jurgen Klopp’s side as one of the most exciting teams in Europe and it is easy to see why the former Palermo marksman could be interested in such a transfer.

But at £144 million, it’s probably not feasible.

Dybala is only 24 and given his potential, the four years left on his contract and the inflated market value of similar players, Juventus don’t exactly need to give him away for a penny less than he’s worth and unless Klopp shatters the Anfield club’s transfer record, it won’t be happening.
