According to Foot Mercato, Liverpool will keep an eye on Aguibou Camara during the Africa Cup of Nations, a player who Newcastle also admire.

Well, the French news outlet believe Liverpool have already scouted the 20-year-old heavily this season, and plan to do so again during the AFCON.
Foot Mercato add that ten other sides are keeping tabs on the 9-cap Guinea international, with Eddie Howe among those interested.
It is said that Camara is unlikely to leave Olympiacos this winter, partly due to his involvement in the AFCON.
However, the Greek giants are expecting a summer scramble across Europe for their coveted No.22, who is enjoying a superb campaign.
The youngster has scored five goals in 25 appearances from midfield, while also registering four assists.
Foot Mercato believe Olympiacos value their wonderkid at €15m (£12.6m).

Interestingly, Foot Mercato liken Camara to a player who Jürgen Klopp knows well – Naby Keita.
The Guinean gem plays just like Liverpool’s No.8 – both are diminutive midfielders who ooze creativity, and also excel at dribbling.
Intriguingly, Sportime believe Liverpool and Olympiacos have a good relationship, having already done business when Klopp brought Kostas Tsimikas to Anfield in 2020.
That would seemingly put Newcastle at a disadvantage, although you can’t rule the Magpies out of the race as a result of their newfound riches.
