According to Spanish media outlet Don Balon, Liverpool remain keen on signing Real Madrid ace Lucas Vázquez this summer, as Jürgen Klopp looks to add some experienced quality to his squad.
The Reds enjoyed a relatively successful campaign on the whole this term, finishing in fourth position in the Premier League table, and reaching the final of the Champions League.
Klopp quite simply must improve his squad further still this summer, however, if he is to guide Liverpool to a major trophy next term.
Don Balon claims that the German has identified Los Blancos star Lucas Vazquez as the ideal signing this summer.
Good signing for Liverpool?
Vazquez is keen on a move to Merseyside, according to Don Balon. He is valued at £21.9 million, according to Transfer Markt, and that would represent excellent value in today’s day and age.
The 26-year-old is a right winger by trade, but can play anywhere along the front-line, and he would offer genuine competition for places in the attacking department at Anfield.
Vazquez has chipped in with 16 goals and 40 assists in 136 appearances for Madrid, and he is a hard working winger.
He possesses a fantastic engine, along with undoubted quality, and he would surely prove to be a real hit at Liverpool, despite not being guaranteed regular first-team action.
