Rangers have been keen to lure Dominic Solanke to Ibrox.

According to The Sun, Liverpool want striker Dominic Solanke to play in the Premier League rather than head to Rangers.
The Gers beat Celtic 1-0 on Saturday afternoon to go level on points with the Bhoys at the top of the Scottish Premiership, proving their title credentials.
In order to really push for the crown, boss Steven Gerrard may want another striker; after all, Umar Sadiq is leaving Ibrox early, leaving Alfredo Morelos and Kyle Lafferty as his only senior forwards.
One name strongly linked with a move to Ibrox is Liverpool attacker Solanke, and The Sun note that Rangers are keen to take him on loan.
However, it’s noted that Liverpool want Solanke to play Premier League football when he goes out on loan, meaning Rangers’ hopes are dwindling fast.
Crystal Palace are the current favourites, with Bournemouth, Brighton, Huddersfield and Watford also keen, though many want him permanently.

That isn’t in Solanke’s plans, meaning a loan move to Palace could be ideal for all parties when the January transfer window opens.
That would leave Rangers heading back to the drawing board for a new striker, with Solanke unlikely to join Liverpool loanee Ryan Kent at Ibrox.
