Liverpool want Odds BK goalkeeper Leopold Wahlstedt in what could be a boost for Celtic’s pursuit of Caoimhin Kelleher.
The Reds may be in the market for a goalkeeper anyway this summer with Adrian San Miguel potentially on his way.
A surprise name has entered the mix with Wahlstedt thought to be a Liverpool target.
Fotboll Transfers in Sweden report that Liverpool are interested in snapping up Wahlstedt this summer.
Wahlstedt’s Odds contract expires at the end of 2023 and Liverpool could chase a bargain deal for the stopper.
23-year-old Wahlstedt earned his first Sweden cap in January, featuring in a friendly against Finland.
The former AIK talent has now popped onto Liverpool’s radar and could be a surprise Reds signing this summer.

Celtic boost over Caoimhin Kelleher amid Leopold Wahlstedt rumours
The interest in Wahlstedt feels like Liverpool preparing for Caoimhin Kelleher to go.
Wahlstedt is a similar age to Kelleher and there have ben noises for months now that the Irishman may look to leave.
Kelleher is 24 and has only made four Premier League appearances for Liverpool.
Kelleher may well fancy heading elsewhere and playing regular first-team action with Celtic thought to be keen.
The Transfer Room reported in March that Celtic are interested in luring Kelleher to Glasgow.
Celtic may well view Kelleher as the long-term successor to Joe Hart between the sticks, potentially giving themselves a settled goalkeeper for years to come.
This will of course come down to how much Liverpool want for Kelleher and interest from other clubs, with Aston Villa thought to be interested.
Liverpool looking at Wahlstedt will give Celtic hope of a summer deal though and they may well hope to see the Swede making his big move to Anfield.
