Liverpool and Arsenal reportedly want Nicolas Pepe of Lille.

Liverpool are interested in signing Nicolas Pepe from Lille in the summer transfer window, according to Le10 Sport.

It has been reported that Liverpool have Pepe on their summer shortlist and have already made enquiries regarding on the kind of deal needed to secure the services of the 23-year-old winger this summer.

Competition for Arsenal

Liverpool’s (reported) interest in Pepe is not good news for Arsenal, who are also claimed to want the 23-year-old Ivory Coast international.

According to a report in Football.London in March, Arsenal have a long-standing interest in the winger, who is one of the rising stars in Europe.

Liverpool are a massive club and could win the Premier League and the Champions League this season, and the Reds will be more attractive to the winger than Arsenal.
