According to the Liverpool Echo, Liverpool won’t be able to land Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic before Wednesday’s transfer deadline – but are prepared to wait for him.
The Reds splashed their cash early this summer, landing goalkeeper Loris Karius, defender Ragnar Klavan, playmaker Georginio Wijnaldum and winger Sadio Mane, but manager Jurgen Klopp may yet look for more reinforcements.

The transfer deadline is just three days away, and Liverpool are being linked with a move for one of the top young talents in Europe – Borussia Dortmind ace Christian Pulisic.
Pulisic, 17, was signed by Borussia Dortmund during Klopp’s time as manager, and has now become one of the world’s most highly-rated teenagers having hit two goals in 12 games for Dortmund, and one goal in six games for the United States national team.

Already a regular on the international stage, Pulisic seems destined for the top – but the Liverpool Echo report that the Reds are unlikely to strike a deal for the American before Wednesday’s transfer deadline.
The report claims that Liverpool have offered £11m to sign Pulisic, but Dortmund are unwilling to sell him in this transfer window, making any deal unlikely this week.

However, it is added that Liverpool are prepared to wait for Pulisic, suggesting they will try again to land him either during the January transfer window or next summer, with Klopp allegedly rating him very highly.
A pacey winger with great dribbling skills, Pulisic is one for the future – but the chance to sign for Klopp again may be appealing, and whilst Dortmund won’t sell right now, the teenager appears to be a long-term target for Liverpool and their German boss.
