Liverpool are set to hand a new deal to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool will hand a 12-month contract extension to midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain following his return from injury.
The Reds were coasting to victory against Huddersfield Town on Friday night, but there was one moment that draw a huge reaction from the Anfield crowd.
With just shy of 20 minutes to play, Jurgen Klopp decided to introduce Oxlade-Chamberlain as a substitute, as he saw out the final stages of the 5-0 win.
Oxlade-Chamberlain was making his first appearance of the season and his first appearance in a year, having suffered a major knee injury on April 25th 2018.
The midfielder looked bright on his comeback and even nearly scored, as the 25-year-old looks to make up for lost time by aiding Liverpool in their pursuit of trophies.

Now, Klopp looks set to give Oxlade-Chamberlain another huge vote of confidence, as it’s claimed that he will be given a 12-month extension on his £120,000-a-week contract.
His current deal still runs until 2022, but the Reds are seemingly handing him another 12 months to make up for the year he lost due to injury – and the ex-Arsenal man will be looking to seize his new opportunity.
