There has been a potential twist regarding reported Liverpool target Jude Bellingham.
Last week, it was reported by ESPN that the Reds were favourites to bring Bellingham to Anfield, despite constant links to Manchester City.
Of all the clubs most heavily linked to the 19-year-old Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool have probably been mentioned more than anyone over the past six months in terms of potential destinations.
There is no way that speculation about the England international’s future will abate between now and next summer but according to 90 Min, the Bundesliga outfit believe that they can convince Bellingham to do another year in Germany.
According to that outlet, Bellingham is by no means ‘determined’ to leave Signal Iduna Park and that the chances of him sticking around until 2024 at the earliest are ‘good’.

The report has added that Liverpool feel like they are ‘well placed’ to sign the former Birmingham City midfielder, though the same is said of City and Real Madrid.
Earlier this week, The Daily Mail reported that a transfer to the Etihad Stadium was expected by many for Bellingham, labelled ‘absolutely unbelievable‘ this week by international teammate Kalvin Phillips.
But regardless of who Bellingham winds up joining, there is an increased likelyhood that the youngster – contracted until 2025 – will do another year in Germany after this.
