Report: Liverpool think £288k-a-week man could draw Bellingham to Anfield

Liverpool feel that the prospect of working under Jurgen Klopp could be a draw for Jude Bellingham.

At least, that is what 90 Min have reported today.

In the report, it states that the Liverpool-linked Borussia Dortmund midfielder is set to decide his future early in 2023.

First, the 19-year-old will decide on whether or not to quit the Bundesliga outfit next year – and after that, a decision will be made on who to join.

Liverpool are one of several clubs with a confidence about signing the England international, with Manchester City and Real Madrid also boasting ‘compelling’ cases.

But according to 90 Min, the opportunity to play for a manager like Klopp could be ‘enticing’ for the player.

The former Dortmund coach is among one of the world’s finest.

Klopp, who earns the equivalent of around £288,000 per week at Anfield [GOAL], came perilously close to winning all four competitions for the Reds last season, falling tragically short in the Premier League and Champions League.

But his stock remains ever so high, despite Liverpool somewhat struggling for consistency this season.

And for that reason, yes it is definitely plausible to think that Bellingham – a boyhood fan of the Anfield outfit – would still be attracted to the opportunity to play under such a world-class manager.
