Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have told Neco Williams that he can leave on loan this summer, according to The Mirror (print edition, page 79, June 19, 2022).
The report has claimed that Liverpool have told Williams that they will allow him to leave on loan next season so that he can be ready for the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.
Williams will play for Wales in Qatar, having helped his nation qualify for the competition.
Earlier this month, 90min reported that Nottingham Forest are interested in signing Williams from Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
Forest are reportedly eyeing a move for the 21-year-old after losing the race to secure the services of Djed Spence to Tottenham Hotspur.

Neco Williams should leave Liverpool
In our view, Liverpool right-back Neco Williams should leave Anfield, probably on a permanent basis.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is the number one right-back at Liverpool, and the England international will play when he is fit and available.
Williams, described as “outstanding” by Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on the club’s official website in December 2021 – is 21 now and is a regular for Wales, and we do not think that he should waste his time on the bench at Anfield.
Liverpool are also about to sign Calvin Ramsay from Aberdeen, which means Williams will have even more competition at right-back in the coming years.
