Liverpool are reportedly keen on Ajax winger David Neres.

According to Calciomercato, Liverpool are interested in signing Ajax winger David Neres in 2020, adding the Brazilian to their wish list.
Neres, 22, emerged in his native Brazil with Sao Paulo, before heading to the Netherlands with Ajax in 2017, where he has become a star.
The winger starred last season with 12 goals and 15 assists, playing a key role as Ajax reached the semi-finals of the Champions League last season before he surprisingly extended his contract in August.
Neres is contracted to Ajax until 2023 now, but it’s claimed that Liverpool are looking to lure him to Anfield in 2020, whether that’s January or at the end of the season.
Liverpool have a star-studded attack in Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah, but adding a versatile attacker like Neres could be ideal for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Neres is quick, direct and knows where the goal is, whilst he already knows Alisson, Fabinho and Firmino from international duty with Brazil, which could be a major benefit.

Intriguingly, Everton wanted Neres this past summer, with The Telegraph claiming that Marcel Brands was ready to challenge Arsenal for his signature.
Neither side managed to land him, and Liverpool may now be ready to swoop in and take Neres to Anfield, rather than see him turn out for rivals Everton.
