According to The Mirror, Leicester City winger Harvey Barnes is set to sign a new deal despite interest from Liverpool.
It’s claimed that the Foxes are in advanced talks to keep Barnes for the coming years having impressed this season.
Liverpool and Manchester United have allegedly been watching Barnes head of potentially launching a move for the winger.
However, the 23-year-old wants to stay at Leicester, and is ready to commit his future to Brendan Rodgers’ side.
Barnes does still have more than three years to run on his current contract, but he looks set to land a pay rise with this hew deal.
Barnes has racked up 13 goals and four assists in 35 games this season, putting himself in contention for an England call-up this summer.
