Liverpool target Ferran Torres is set to sign for Premier League rivals Manchester City with Goal reporting that the Valencia wonderkid has agreed personal terms ahead of a four-year contract at the Etihad Stadium.

And, with six goals and eight assists for an underperforming Los Che side in 2019/20, the prospect of Torres honing his already elite talents under one of the finest coaches in the game would have had full backs up and down the land suffering plenty of sleepless nights.
But the global health crisis changed everything for Liverpool – and for Torres.
The 2019 European champions have backed out of the race for the likes of Timo Werner and Kai Havertz, according to Klopp himself (Sky).
And while the German duo are bound for Chelsea, another Anfield-linked sensation looks set to join the ranks of a potential usurper.

Cash-strapped Valencia, who have seemingly put almost all of their squad up for sale, could sell their prized asset for a bargain £27 million and Torres is understood to be thrilled at the prospect of working with a tactical mastermind like Pep Guardiola.
Liverpool might have finished 18 points clear in first position this season. Next year, however, expect things to be a little tighter at the top.
