The Liverpool midfielder is facing a race against time to be fit in time for Sunday’s clash with Tottenham Hotspur.

According to a report from Football.London, Liverpool ace Jordan Henderson is a huge doubt for his side’s clash with Tottenham at Anfield on Sunday.
The 28-year-old picked up an injury playing for England against the Czech Republic on Friday night, and he now faces a race to be fit in time for this weekend’s massive game against Spurs.
Liverpool currently sit top of the table, two points clear of second placed Manchester City, although they have played a game more than Pep Guardiola’s side.
Tottenham, meanwhile, sit in third spot, one point clear of fourth placed Arsenal, and a further two ahead of fifth placed Manchester United.
Both sides are in desperate need of all three points on Sunday, and Football.London claims that Liverpool could be without Henderson for the visit of Tottenham.

The former Sunderland man has received his fair share of criticism recently, but he is still a hugely important player for Liverpool, and having him unavailable for selection against Spurs will be a real blow for Jürgen Klopp.
Tottenham must win the game on Sunday, and their chances of doing just that will be enhanced if the England international is in fact ruled out of Sunday’s clash.
